During this 2- day demonstration workshop, Tom will discuss his work over the last 50 years and show a digital presentation. He will cover the following topics:

 

Demonstration of throwing porcelain, Demonstration of thrown and altered pieces, Discussions on glazes and clay bodies, Demonstration of many different surface decorations on porcelain, ways to apply glazes (spraying and dipping). If there is time, Tom will answer questions about ceramics such as photographing, marketing etc.

 

Workshop Fees: $250 for ACS SoCA, VCPG and CASD members, $300 for non-members, $125 students with proof of current minimum enrollment of 6 units. When your signed form and check is received, you will receive an email confirmation. Expired ACS So CA workshop certificates will not be honored. Checks will not be cashed until after the workshop. Pot Luck Lunch: If you want to participate in the pot luck lunch, please bring a dish to feed 6 people.
If your last name begins A to J, please bring your dish on Saturday, If your last name begins with K-Z, please bring your dish on Sunday.
